The Court wants to impose a 12.5% pay cut on one group of members, targeting one classification with even more takeaways.  Members of Units 6 and 15 came together and said these cuts would hurt the public who rely on qualified court reporters.
The members of Units 6 and 15 have overwhelmingly rejected the Court’s Last, Best and Final Offer. We have negotiated all along in good faith, balancing the interests of the courts and the interests of the public who deserve qualified court reporters.

“The members of Unit 6 and Unit 15 have voted to fight for fair wages for everyone and a better workplace so that we can maintain quality services that our community counts on.”
-Yvette Gonzalez, Judicial Assistant II and Doreen Perkins, Court Reporter
