DACA Update: Important Oct. 5 Deadline for Renewals
President Trump announced on Sept. 5, 2017, that he is ending the DREAMer program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in 6 months. The hopes and dreams of nearly 800,000 young people brought to the U.S. as children are on the line. This cruel and shameful attack on America’s young immigrants seeks to fuel an anti-immigrant and racist agenda. But we will not back down. The fight for immigrant justice continues.
