After a very long negotiation process, your bargaining team reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) with the County on Thursday, December 14. Through our members’ actions, management reversed their initial offer of a Zero percent raise and proposals that would have provided better working conditions. Because of our union actions, we were able to receive raises that we had not received in decades. On top of that, we secured an economic package that uplifts many of our members.
Our actions worked. We’ve organized picket rallies, a community town hall, presentations to the Board of Supervisors, lobbying the board, many worksite member meetings, and actions against department directors such as taking over all-staff meetings, but we know we still have a lot of issues at work to address under Fresno County! But right now, we have reached a deal we cannot pass on. Your SEIU 521 Bargaining Team Recommends a YES Vote to Ratify Our TA!

- You must be a dues-paying member to vote on the TA. Activate your SEIU 521 union membership now.
- We must have a personal email address and/or cell phone number on file with permission to text you. Without your correct contact information, you will not be able to submit an online ballot via email or text. Update your contact information no later than Friday, January 4, 2024
TA Ratification Vote Schedule
All dues-paying SEIU Local 521 union members will have a chance to vote on the tentative agreement from Thursday, January 11 to Friday, January 12, using our online voting system, Election Buddy. Electronic notices will be sent to you via personal email or phone number, whichever we have on file, with a link to an electronic ballot to cast your vote. Do not share these notices with others – this dedicated unique link is intended for you.
Vote Starts: Thursday, January 11 at 7 a.m
Vote Closes: Friday, January 12 at 3 p.m.
